In Brandermill, we transformed what was once a guest bedroom at the top of the stairs into a refined, highly personalized closet remodel that feels both elegant and intentional. The former 4×4 carpeted platform from the hallway was extended and refinished with new hardwood flooring, replacing all carpet with warm wood that instantly elevated the space. From the first step inside, this custom closet remodel feels integrated, polished, and thoughtfully designed.

On her side, we approached the design like a curated dressing boutique where every detail matters. Between two tall hanging areas, mirrored doors house her mother’s treasured fur coats while visually expanding the room. Custom millwork and elevated finishes add architectural presence without overwhelming the space.
Even Princess Leia, the family’s loyal pup, couldn’t resist striking a pose on the new rug to oversee the final touches of her owners’ new sanctuary!

Balance was essential. On his side, we introduced deeper open shelving designed to accommodate sweaters, jeans, and bulkier garments without compromising visual order. Structured hanging sections maintain organization while keeping everyday essentials easily accessible.
We also incorporated open shelving throughout the space to display mementos and family photos, blending function with personality. Rather than hiding everything behind doors, this closet remodel invites storytelling through thoughtfully styled displays.
