Virginia Design Group, a leader in flexible kitchen and bath design solutions, is proud to announce that its founder, Jennifer Duncan, CKD, has been named one of the 2025 KBDN Innovators by Kitchen & Bath Design News (KBDN). This prestigious recognition honors industry leaders who demonstrate excellence not only in design, but also in education, association leadership, and community service.
The KBDN Innovators program selects individuals who go above and beyond great design to lead their businesses and peers through industry participation and charitable work. Ms. Duncan is recognized as one of 28 outstanding leaders in the 2025 class for her comprehensive business vision, service to the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), and commitment to elevating industry standards.
In 2018, Duncan started what is now Virginia Design Group, a company that offers clients a flexible design experience. She recognized a need for design-only services for clients who already had a contractor selected or wanted to have a plan to use to bid multiple contractors, and for clients who wanted to work with the same company for the design and the build processes, which Duncan and her team of project managers and tradespeople can deliver.
A Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) since 2006, Ms. Duncan founded Virginia Design Group in 2018 based on the philosophy of flexible client service. Her company uniquely offers both design-only packages for clients who already have contractors or wish to bid out their projects, as well as full design-and-build processes with an in-house team. This adaptable approach addresses a critical need in the modern remodeling landscape.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Duncan has been highly active in the industry, serving on the Virginia State and National Board of Directors for NKBA, as well as the Central Virginia PRO board and the Executive Leadership Board of PRO Inc. She has previously been recognized with the Crystal Choice Award, multiple CoTY awards from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), and the PRO Remodeler of the Year award.
